sport11 OLD LEATHER GUN CASE
Date & Maker c1920? by "Red Head Brand" USA
Description I'm not an expert in gun cases so couldn't tell you the type of gun this would fit. Aside from the cloth label other identifying marks would be 2 impressed numbers which I assume would be model numbers and they are 21 & 30. Also impressed on the top of the cover is: MADE IN USA. The lock is brass as is the oval which is waiting to have your name engraved on it. A very attractive display piece!
Condition Very good. The usual nicks & scrapes as well as a few breaks in the leather as illustrated in photo 4. All straps intact. Handle also.
Comments This was part of the "Wright & Ditson" turn of century Boston Sporting Goods Store, a set created for the Disney Film (yet to be released) "The greatest game ever played".
