CC 7 DADDY'S LITTLE PRINCESS. Top Montreal Photographer James Inglis skillfully posed & vignetted this adorable child. The starched cotton dress she is wearing was no doubt custom made by her mother's seamstress. A bow on each shoulder wouldn't do for this pampered child, another bigger one is tied at her waist. A beautiful necklace adorns the pleated & lace trimmed top. The hair was carefully brushed & tied back just so. The whole scene is further enhanced by a cloth picture book of the Elizabethan Royal Court and an opulent foot stool. She knows she is pretty and loves the moment. The lighting & clarity is superb. There is a name in pencil on the reverse which I cannot decipher. The card is in as new condition front & back but does have a strip of thin cardboard at the top of the reverse which might stem from a mat or album. Standard size, untrimmed with sharp corners.
