CC 2 SAD EYED MRS. REVERENT BURT- nee Elizabeth Humphry. Skillfully posed in front of an elaborate painted backdrop. The subtle range of tones showing off her white dress are difficult to achieve. But here we have S.J. Dixon, the prominent Toronto Photographer behind the lens. Probably a piece of cake for him. The untrimmed card is in superb condition front & back. The curved line to the left of the lady at shoulder height is most likely a hair that got between the backing & the image during the mounting process.
