CC10      OLD DOC BERTRAM. There's nothing this gentleman hasn't seen in 50 years of practice. Probably tended to many a Civil War soldier. I haven't checked to see if there is a record of him. His poor hands are gnarled from old age. I can't tell if he carries an Ivory handled cane or if that cane conceals a sword. The formal attire appears to be from the late 1860s. The top hat is an expensive one. A very engaging portrait. The photographer's name appears to be TERPLE. The card is in fine shape, somewhat yellowed with softly bumped corners.
