Cabinet Card #1

CC1 GENTLEMAN JIM. This was taken c1880 in London, Ontario but has a Western or Southern  feel to it. Perhaps a visitor from the prairies or Savannah? His clothes are well cut from quality cloth. Silk scarf, kid loves, velvet upper lapel & simple jewelry, the stylish hat tell us he is a man of taste but what are we to make of the hair? Something ain't fittin Miss Scarlett. The untrimmed card is of standard size & in excellent condition. The tones are a rich sepia. The ornate but faint back mark tells us that the photographer was John Cooper.  $ 28    Please add 2.00 for shipping on this continent. More for overseas.
