6th Plate. Unattributed Ambrotype of a Toronto Lad. Bit of a scrapper here. I wouldn't be surprised if he's from "Cabbage Town" a tough part of the City then known for its Irish population. A laborer dressed in his best shirt & tie. The Ambro is on very thick glass with the emulsion on the front which explains the faint mat marks. It is somewhat dark. The top center image is as close as I could get it to the original. Lovely blue tinting to his big bow as well as softly tinted cheeks. Paper half case.
