Condition Cover & Binding: Covers are in superb condition. Spine attached & whole, beginning weaknesses on all 4 corners, top & bottom. Binding intact, pages move well. Still....should be handled with care. Not for every day use.
Condition Pages: Darkened with age. All square pages say "Copyright reserved". Mild foxing & staining throughout but acceptable. No tears. Some pages have been overlaid with laser copies of better looking ones from the album. No index or front cover page. Pink end papers are original.
Condition Overall: Very good. Gilding of embossed pages & leather is bright. Clasps & clasp ornaments are intact & original. All 4 porcelain feet are present.
Comments A very ornate 140 year old album that displays extremely well. Number on spine indicates a Harding.
