DEC9 IROQUOIS BEADED BOX (PURSE ) BEADED WHIMSY

Description Larger than it appears to be, this "box" is virtually covered with beadwork. Beige panels are velvet, red ones are cotton. 18 tassels in total. Very high frontal & rear rosettes.
Condition Very good. Some fading to fabric but beads are clean & bright. 2 small strands of beads are missing on one of the rear green upper circles. No carry "chain". Some pin prick marks on velvet panels, Some fraying on purse edge where the lid covers it. Small tear under "o" where there might have been some sort of closure. Easily fixed with more beads. A nice item.
Comments Displays very well. I would make a new beaded hanging chain.
